My dh and I were in our 20s when we started trying and it took 3 and a half years and 1 miscarriage before we conceived our beautiful daughter. I didn't even know we were considered infertile until my PCP was asking about birth control during my annual physical. We had just been in the lets see what happens stage for over a year and when she said "infertile" my heart dropped and I left the office in tears. A few months later we got the referral for the specialist and after a year with her we got pregnant but it wasn't meant to be. Exactly a year later our daughter was born. I can't imagine what our life would be like if things had been different but I wouldn't chage anything. I would trade our sweet baby girl for anything.
