“Bee Happy” PillowHow sweet is this “Bee Happy” pillow? We love the fun pattern and bright colors. Amy used custom piping to match the bedding in her son’s crib. “It’s the little touches that take a sewing project from ho-hum to fabulous,” she says.

Framed Chalkboard Birth AnnouncementNot only is this framed chalkboard a unique way to display baby’s birth stats, it's also easy to make and inexpensive. To avoid buying a chalkboard, Amy made her own with chalkboard paint and pre-cut birch wood. She estimates that the entire project cost less than $10!

Custom Fabric Wall DecalsThese wall decals are the perfect way to use scraps of fabric you have left over from baby’s bedding or curtains. “These took me a total of one hour to cut and hang,” says Amy. “But the personality they add to the space is huge.” Amy’s secret? She used spray starch to adhere the fabric to the walls—it’s temporary and the decals can be easily removed if you want to change the room’s décor later on.
