I only gained 9 pounds my first pregnancy and my baby weighed 6lbs 13oz. I think the weight you gain has nothing to do with how much weight the baby will gain.

I kinda agree with you ladies I gained 65 pounds with my first and he was only 7 lbs 3oz I gained just 35 pounds with my second and she weighed 8lbs 7oz my third I was very fit but I gained 35 and he weighed 9 lbs even now I’m pregnant again and I’m kinda scared that I’m going to have and even bigger baby my weight when I found out i was pregnant was 190 I’m 5 foot 8 inches and so far at 22 weeks I have gained just 14 pounds I’m really healthy no problems at all so far.

Both my children weighed 9lbs and were born only one day after my due date. My pre pregnancy size for both was 5’2″ and 105lbs. I gained the recommended 35lbs withe the first and only 25lbs with the second. Babies grow as big as babies are going to grow.

For me personally this is completly inaccurate i am over wieght and the 2 babies I have given birth to so far were both under that 8lb 13 oz mark. my boys weighted in at 8lb1oz and 6lb8oz I wieghted the same with both be suprisingly gained more during pregnancy with the lighter weight baby.
