I have a very active toddler. I recently took a trip "home" for a few days and flew back. I actually waited to board the plane last so I could let my daughter wonder around and get as much movement as she could before we got on the plane. The Gate agent knew what I was doing and let me wait until the very last second to board. It made it much easier to handle the two hour flight. (one of the worst in my life). I did preboard when she made her first flight. She was only 3 months old and I had a boppy, a blanket and a baby bag. Made it much easier to get settled with all that when i could preboard.
