Fireworks around my house is almost like a special holiday. They get to break the rules and stay up past bedtime, and fireworks are one of my sons favorite things. Sometimes the most special and memorable moments your child will have involve breaking the rules. Especially if it is mom or dad’s idea. I am very struck with my children’s sleeping schedule, but wander out of the box for special occasions. If you are concerned about how your child will feel about them you can watch a video online so they know what to expect before you get there. I know this is way past 4th of July, but I vote, take him!

we’ve taken our little girl every year, as an infant she slept through them and now loves them. Her bed time has always been much later then most toddlers/preschoolers because that’s what’s works best for us!

No fireworks for us! We have a 3 month old. I agree, they are past her bedtime and loud! Hubs and I will watch them on TV instead, if we can stay awake! Haha!

No fireworks for my kids either. The past the bedtime thing is the clincher for me!
