As single moms,we still have a “choice” to go to work and earning a living or to stay home and live off government assistance and child support (if we are lucky enough to get child support) (this is not meant to insult anyone). No one forces us single moms out of bed each day (well, except for our kids) and makes us go to work. Its a choice and each of our motives are different from the other. We are individual moms with individual choices and individual motives – we are not all just the same just because we are all lumped into the same “single mom” category. It would have been nice to have been included ….but its okay, we are used to it!

HOW PATHETIC! I am once again outraged! Just because I chose to be a single mom and not abort my children in the womb does not make me any less worthy of being a mother and having my voice heard!!!!!

The first question in the survey is: are you Single, In a relationship, Married? If you select single, you do not qualify for the survey. How can this be a true reflection of the American mother when it excludes single moms?
