I had registered for this bather because it was small and compact. I only used it a couple times and returned it for a different brand and type. When the baby is sitting in it, under where their low back is, there is this plastic piece that sticks up, I would notice a red mark on my daughers back after taking her out of the tub and figured out that is where she was getting it from ;0(

I much preferred this bather than a infant tub! We originally got it when we were on vacation and needed something for our 2 month old. We took it home and used it until he was sitting up and then just used the big boy tub. It clearly states that you are not supposed to pick it up with your child in it, and honestly it should be common sense! We plan on using it with baby #3 due in March.

I used it for my daughter as a newborn until she was big enough to sit up well on her own; at which point i switched to a plastic tub where she could splash around. I never had a problem with it and found it quite comfortable for her and me. Sturdiness never seemed an issue. In fact, it was usually a pain to close so i never worried it would unhinge on it’s own. And as was already mentioned, i would never pick it up with the baby still in…or any other baby seat for that matter.

I agree 100%. My son is 4 months old and he loves it. I have had no problems with it at all. when I put it together and get it ready for bath time, I check it myself, and it doesn’t feel or look right I don’t use it. I believe it is called “common sense”. I am on your side Tasha.

I love this bather. I used it for my daughter till she was almost a year old because she just loved laying in it. It is strong and comfortable and doesnt slide around in the tub. I didnt like the hard plastic tubs so this was a great choice. We are expecting in Dec so I will use this for our son too. I just called the company and they will have the security strap to me in a few days. Nice customer service. I have never carried my daughter in this so I dont know why anyone would do that. I would recommend this bather!

clicking on the link to the repair kit will give you more information. These incidents were because people were carrying their children in the baby her. I would have never even thought of doing that, I love this bather it is 10 times better than what I was able to get when my 12 your old was an infant. I plan to continue using the bather.

I just gave my daughters away. I hated it!!! My daughter would scoots right to the bottom and either flip it or almost fall of!!

I was putting mine up for a yard sale but going to hold off until I get the safety strap….I did not like using it either, after about 3 months of use I put it away.

This bather made me very nervous! I never trusted it. It folded on the hinge, didn’t hold my baby in there securely and the headpiece pillow thing began to smell after a bit and the smell transfered to my daughter’s hair. (the little that she had)

Oh my gosh my son had that when he was a baby (2yrs ago) had it from newborn till 1yrs old. I wouldnt let him be in it with out me in the tub also. This is crazy!
