This ad is absolutely disgusting! A shirt is required to be worn when in a restaurant and in many places going topless is illegal. No one has any business breastfeeding while sitting at a table in a restaurant and it is highly irresponsible for Luvs to show this in a TV commercial.

Absolutely LOVED this ad! Breastfeeding is totally natural and should be “normal”. I understand that many people are uncomfortable with it, but the more we normalize it the less people will be uncomfortable around it. People are only uncomfortable because of our societal views on breast exposure, It’s pretty normal in most of world!

I agree with you about the modesty issue. There are women who wear shirts that only cover up the “necessary” parts, but is that appropriate? No. It’s not appropriate when there’s a baby there either. It’s not always how you intend it that counts. Sometimes it’s how people take it. And there are a lot of men who see a breast and mentally photoshop the baby out. Of course there are women who prefer to get that reaction, but that’s not appropriate either.

Ha ha!!! The whole series of Luv commercials is hilarious! I believe 100% in BF whenever and wherever , but I personally like to cover up. Udder Covers makes a great cover that has a wire in it so you can still easily see your baby and they can breathe. While I agree that many women wear shirts that exposé just as much booby as a breastfeeding woman, that woman is not me.

I can’t believe that people see anything wrong with breastfeeding. In the older times most people were breastfed. I personally don’t care when people look at me strange when I breastfeed because regardless how anyone feels my child needs to be fed.
