I was diagnosed with a UU in 2010 after trying for two years to get pregnant. We decided to pursue foster care to adopt, while not preventing pregnancy. Two years later, and the day after we received our foster care license we found out that I was pregnant! I'm 31 weeks now and so far everything looks good. I love reading positive UU pregnancy stories!

I was told it was unlikely for me to ever have children without fertility treatments, etc. I have two children now, a boy and a girl (just had the 2nd). Almost exactly a month to the day after getting off birth control I was pregnant...both times. We had tried for 4 YEARS before bc came in the picture. Apparently bc regulates my body enough to make me fertile mertile the minute I get off of it. We told close family and a few close friends both times but for the most part we kept it hush until the 2nd trimester for fear of having to share our heartbreak publicly were something to go wrong. I consider myself very blessed to have my babies since it is in my family history to have fertility problems. I will now be getting an IUD as soon as my dr gives me the postpartum ok since I don't want to risk forgetting a pill or something and ending up pregnant again knowing what bc does for me. I have the two I always wanted so I am one happy mamma. Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy and congratulations!!
