I totally relate to this! In the hospital my girl twin was very needy and baby boy was so relaxed that I felt very guilty tending to her needs...but at two months old they've somewhat swapped roles and baby boy is more needy at the moment. I do think that individual time is so important and look forward to spacing feedings out a little more so that we can make more time for that!

I schedule "date nights" with the kids...they aren't regular, sometimes they just happen naturally. When my son is with my husband at football practice, my daughter and I have alone time. I'm starting to see a natural tendency to split off based on gender so I make an effort to go out and throw the football (like a fool) in the front yard with my son too (and I remind my husband he should sit and do art with my daughter).
