Jimmy Kimmel Brings Back “I Told My Kid I Ate All Their Halloween Candy”
With Hurricane Sandy postponing Halloween for some and causing chaos for many, it seems everyone was in need of a laugh this week. Luckily, Jimmy Kimmel knows how to lighten even the darkest of moods.
Famous for challenging parents to humorously torture their children, the late-night talk show host brought back a fan favorite this week. “I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy (Again)” showcases the funniest (and somewhat sad) reactions of children who’ve been told their Halloween candy has disappeared. Want a laugh? Watch this.
What do you think of the video? Would you play a prank like this on your kids?

Makes me sick and sad. You know you’re going to hurt their feelings… how does that NOT make YOU feel bad?! And how are kids supposed to trust their parents when they lie to them … even about stupid little things? Gag me! =(
I’m pregnant with my first and I laughed hysterically at this. Mainly because I see parents lie in front of their kids every day and when the kid tries to correct the parent-the parent punishes the kid. This was along the lines of a prank I would pull on my husband. Those kids will probably grow up with a good sense of humor. And sorry, but if joking about eating their Halloween candy breaks the kids trust in their parents, then there is something wrong in that household. My stepdad at one point told me he shot the Easter Bunny and the stew we were eating was Rabbit Stew-that didn’t cause me to lose trust in my parents. It caused me to wonder where the eggs came from the next year.
this always gets me. i think it might be better than last year! hilarious
