Yes everyone loves your baby but only you know exactly what he needs! If he needs a nap, give him a nap, even if Uncle charlie just wants to play peek-a-boo ‘one more time’. It can be hard to tell loved ones that you MEAN it when you say you need to take the baby, whether its for feeding or just because you want to hold him, but it’s important AND totally okay! I love that my family and my husband’s family understand this – if yours might not, you might talk to them before the event.
