Over 10,000 Baby Jogger City Versa Strollers have been recalled in the United States and Canada. The CPSC, Health Canada and City Versa are voluntarily recalling the product due to frail stroller frames that can collapse while in use, posing a fall hazard to children riding in the stroller. At this time at least six separate incidents have been reported with no injuries.

This recall includes all City Versa Strollers manufactured between May 15 and August 20, 2012. The date of manufacture can be found on the stroller’s black plastic side hinge below “Baby Jogger” and “City Versa”. The strollers have charcoal-colored metal frames with black, silver, red, or green fabric stroller seats and canopies. The City Versa Stroller has been sold in store at buybuy Baby and online at albeebaby.com, diapers.com and buybuybaby.com from July 2012 through October 2012.

If you own one of these strollers, you should stop using it immediately and contact Baby Jogger for a free replacement stroller frame. Concerned costumers can contact Baby Jogger toll-free at (877) 506-2213 from 8:30 to 5:30 EST Monday through Friday or by visiting them online at www.babyjogger.com and clicking on “Recall Information”. Costumers can also email recall@babyjogger.com.
