To me this seems more like a cleanliness issue vs. a manufacturer issue. I always clean my products before using them.

Tara, I would contact Fisher-Price just to be sure. Their number is listed in the post and you can also contact them via e-mail. I’m pretty sure you’re right, though, and that the one you recently bought from Target is safe, but it’s better to know for sure!

I’m confused. THe article says it’s only units from “mass merchandise” stores and online … retails store units are not included in the recall. Are they saying it’s stores like Sam’s Club that are the issue? I just bought one at Target … is that one ok?

Ours is filled with mold! I accidentally found it when I was looking for my daughters pacifier. My daughter was only 2 weeks old when I found the mold and had taken her to the doctors cause she had a “cold” or what I thought was. Once I supped using the rock and play she got better! I’m so disappointed with the recall. If your making products for children then everything should be done perfect!
