Zofran (Ondansetron) got me through my 1st HG pregnancy and is doing the same this time around. I don't know that my son or I would have survived without it. I'm glad there is more research and the word is getting out. In my 1st pregnancy the insurance would only cover one dose a day because the FDA had not approved it. That made a huge dent in our finances! This time they are covering 2 doses a day.

This is good news. Zofran has been my life-saver... allowing me to avoid the worst of the morning sickness and make it through the regular work-week while pregnant. Not to mention, it sure helps out my appetite... I can actually manage to eat more than just saltines during the day. Mom and baby need the nuishment of a good healthy meal!
