I don't see how this is a "warning" article. I think the author puts forth a realistic list of the little things that change about you after motherhood. Is it really that horrific to not get a regular manicure or to go to bed before 10? I have 2 toddlers and I agree with this list 100%. I think it's good to hear how life changes for you on a day-to-day scale versus the grand, life-altering changes that you already know await you.

Add to your list, crazy emotions. Pre-baby, I was a rock. I could go stone face and steady for anything, no matter the situation. Now, some poor kid looses a toy in a movie and I tear up. What gives? I get the pregnancy hormones, but no one mentions how they can stick around. I like being the rock and not freaking out.

Motherhood is life changing for sure, it's like jumping into another body just not physically. In a way we become like animals, our instincts are sharpened, our main priorities changed the second you lay eyes on the most precious gem. With all that said, as a grandmother of three very young grandsons, with all the knowledge, wisdom and experience of life, grandmotherhood is my favorite role in my life because of the time, the patience, the extreme level of LOVE I have to give, my priorities are them in the moment at all times. As a parent you always thing ahead, what the next meal will be, which school to send them to, how to deal with friends and peer pressures and on and on and on, as a grandparent you always live and love in the moment, It's great!

I don't see why this web site is always posting negative things for new mom's to be to read. It's frightening enough going into the unknown of being a new mother, never mind having constant posts about the negative. Yes it is life, and yes new mom's like to have a heads up, but how often is to often? Is there a need for so many "warning" articles? This is my opinion anyways.
