7 Most Memorable Mommy Moments from the 2014 Golden Globes

There was so much to love about the Golden Globes this year; from Tam Honks (come on!), to the dresses (the dresses, y’all!) to Leo’s big win (sorry, but I swoon for Leo), the show was equal parts funny, touching and crowd-pleasing.

But the most memorable moments? Those came from the moms and mommys-to-be that took to the stage and the red carpet to show off their love, appreciation and breathtaking adoration for their babies on board (or the ones watching at home!).

Here are some of the night’s biggest highlights:

Amy Adams

When Amy took home the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture, she thanked her manager for letting the world know that an Enchanted princess can punch and wear a low-cut gown. She also thanked her daughter for teaching her to accept joy and let go of fear. It was touching and true and so, so sweet.

Amy Poehler

I think the whole world breathed a sign of relief when she finally took home the trophy for best actress in a TV series. She thanked her "wonderful children," who she called her "double A batteries and make everything worthwhile."

Kerry Washington

Mama-to-be told cameras that she had "the best accessory" of the night -- and she was right! We loved seeing Kerry, who's usually so private, glowing throughout the night.

Olivia Wilde

When asked about her due date the actress adorably responded, "May the fourth be with you!" Not sure about you, but we know what we'll be waiting for on that day!

Cate Blanchett

The proud mom gushed that she took her kids to the Magic Castle earlier in the day before taking home the award for best actress in a motion picture.
