Make Way for Another Royal Baby! Zara Phillips Welcomes an Heiress to the Throne [UPDATED]
Updated January 23: Zara and Mike announced that they’ve chosen Mia Grace for baby girl’s name.
Bless those Brits! Earlier this morning, Buckingham Palace announced that there was another royal baby born, this time to Zara Philipps and her husband, Mike Tindell. The baby is the first for the proud mum, who’s Prince William‘s first cousin and Godmother to Prince George.
The royal babe, who’s name has yet to be announced, weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces at birth and is 16th in line for the throne. She was born at Glouchestershire Royal Hospital and a statement from the palace read, “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike’s parents, Mr. Phillip and Mrs. Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news. The baby’s name will be confirmed in due course.” They forgot to add how excited the original Royal Baby himself, Prince George, is to have a gurgling, drooling and crawling partner in crime!
