5 Celebrity Moms With a Refreshing View on Their Postbaby Bodies

In the celebrity mom world, it's not unusual for actresses and models to have a baby and be obsessed with slimming down their postbaby body (cough, Kim Kardashian ) or walk the catwalk just months after giving birth (hi, Miranda Kerr ). However, Kate Winslet is the latest celebrity mom to voice her views on healthy and realistic behavior after giving birth, among these other ladies that we want to give a big high-five to.

Kate Winslet

The "Divergent" actress and mom of three spoke at the film's LA premiere on Tuesday about her post-baby body and why heavy exercise isn't on her mind. "I have to say, so much attention is placed on this thing of bouncing back after a baby. I don’t advocate fast weight loss at all after a baby, because you are nursing, you can’t, you have to eat and you have to be well... throwing myself into some workout regimen is crazy," Kate said.

Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell, who's as frank and funny as it gets, isn't worrying about her "muffin top" after giving birth to her daughter. "I'm definitely trying to lose [the baby weight] — I want to be clear. But I'm not letting it keep me up at night and I am not letting it become the narrative of my life for the next year. I refused to worry about something I could not change, and I still refuse," Kristen said.

Amy Adams

After giving birth to her daughter, Amy Adams just didn't see the point of going crazy on workouts. "Some of these actresses or public personas who are very public about their disciplined diets, more power to them. I just don’t see the point. I’m just not going to be one of those people photographed in a bikini where people are like, ‘OMG, look at Amy!’ I mean, it might be OMG, but not for the reasons I want," Amy said.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson has never, ever been shy about her body issues after giving birth to her two children. "I'm not a supermodel. My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I'm just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself," Jessica said.

Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff wanted to be healthy after the birth of her son, but didn't have unrealistic expectations for herself. "There are some women who look the same right after — I think they are freaks of nature! I don't know how that happens. I'm not one of those people. It takes your body nine months to get there — really 10 months. So I'm trying to be patient but I'm working hard. And I think now more than ever, I appreciate my body and what it's done for me," Hilary said.
