Massachusetts mom Caroline Ruscak deserves a big medal, y’all. On April 22, she delivered baby girl Carisa via C-section, who weighed in at 14 and a half pounds and measured 22 inches long! Carisa is officially the largest infant to have been delivered at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston in more than a decade.

“Everyone in the operating room was like, ‘Oh my God, look at the size of this baby! Let’s get her on the scale, what does she weigh?’” Caroline told a local news station.”It validated me because I was in a lot of pain when I was pregnant, so to hear the size, it made sense.”

However, Caroline and her husband Bryan’s 2-year-old daughter, Claudia, was also a big baby.

“We expected her to have a big baby,” said Claudia’s doctor, Dr. Jennifer Kickham. “Her first baby was 10 and a half pounds, so we weren’t surprised. We were expecting a big baby, but we weren’t expecting one quite that big.”

Jennifer also stated that Carisa’s birth was a healthy and “beautiful delivery” and neither Caroline, Claudia or Carisa have diabetes.

Carisa is such a cutie. Congratulations to the Ruscaks!
