I’m telling you, when elusive celebrities go on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen has an art of dragging almost everything out of them, which is why I’m so pumped that Mila Kunis appeared on the show on Friday.

Since Mila likes to keep very mum on her pregnancy and engagement while having the cutest maternity style ever, Ellen must have been dying of curiousity about the future Mrs. Ashton Kutcher too. While she couldn’t get Mila to reveal the gender of their baby, Ellen did get Mila to dish on her pregnancy cravings.

“I’m very stereotypical. I eat sauerkraut all day long,” Mila says. “Here’s the truth. This is the worst craving to have because sauerkraut smells and so every time you open up a jar it just reeks in the whole kitchen…It’s not like ice cream where everything smells lovely.”

After revealing that she also loves pickles (and a man in a humiliating pickle hat came out with an assortment of pickles and sauerkraut for her), the actress also told the audience how Ashton is the enabler of her sour cravings.

“He kid of preempted this,” Mila says. “He assumed that I was gonna have goofy cravings, so he stocked our secondary fridge with weird food. Just like pickles, and sauerkraut, or like anchovies, and ice creams, just in case at one point during this pregnancy I’d be like, ‘I really want something.’ And it happened last week. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I need a pickle!’ It was just the weirdest thing, like I needed this pickle. And he was like, ‘Hold on a second,’ and disappeared in the backyard and came back with the most amazing dill pickle of all time.”

That’s why we love Ashton, ladies and gents. He’s cute, funny and knows the importance of a pregnancy pickle. She also says that she’s planning a natural birth.

“We thought about it. We watched a couple of documentaries and we looked into the like the midwife aspect of it and things and spoke to my OB/GYN and realized that the hospital that I’m going to be laboring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing, and so I’m gonna do it as all natural as I possibly can unless that there’s an emergency or something wrong.”
