TODAY show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie’s recent baby shower was nothing if not newsworthy. The journalist, expecting her first child, celebrated her baby-to-be with a newspaper-themed shower hosted by her friends at NBC. And, though Savannah is known for keeping a straight face while reporting the news, the 42-year-old let her emotions show as she thanked her friends and family for their support. “I have never felt in my life so much joy for us,” she gushed to party-goers at the June 30th event. “I kinda just can’t get over it because when you say you’re happy for us or you give us a hug or rub the belly, I know you really mean it. That means so much to me and us.” The other half of the expecting couple is Guthrie’s husband, Mike Feldman (who she accidentally introduced as Matt at the party — classic pregnancy brain!). The pair married in March of 2014 and announced the pregnancy shortly after.

Flag Them Down
We love the color scheme of Savannah's gender-neutral shower. Plus, the decor gave the entire event a childlike, whimsical feel.
