Cute! Doctor Sings to Babies as He Delivers Them [WATCH]

Dr. Carey Andrew-Jaja may have delivered over 8,000 babies, but each one is greeted with a song, every time.

The Pittsburgh OB-GYN says that while this is his way of celebrating each and every new life, it’s not a tradition he started. During his residency, singing to babies was the practice of an older OB-GYN, who instructed Dr. Andrew-Jaja to keep the music alive.

“Each of them is an individual. I deliver thousands and thousands of babies. When I’m singing to those babies, I think I’m singing to a future important person. That’s the credit I give to all of them,” he says.

Isn’t there something so obvious (and overlooked) about singing “Happy Birthday” to a newborn? When the delivery room staff  breaks into the chorus, you won’t be able to stop smiling.
