Marisa Miller, former Maxim Hot 100 winner and Sports Illustrated cover girl, has announced she and her husband, record producer Griffin Guess, are expecting their first child late fall this year.

The model mommy-to-be told People: “My husband and I have always looked forward to starting a family, but also wanted to enjoy just being married. After six years together, the time feels right.”

Marisa joins what seems like a flock of models who’ve announced they’re new or expecting mothers. Alessandra Ambrosio recently gave birth to her second child, Miranda Kerr and husband Orlando bloom welcomed a boy last year, and this month Gisele Bundchen announced she’s pregnant with baby number two. All of this leads us to wonder — what is in the water at those Victoria’s Secret runway shows?

What we do know is that even supermodels can’t escape nasty first trimester symptoms. “Even though I’m exhausted, gaining weight and breaking out from all the hormones, I’m really enjoying my pregnancy,” Marisa said. “It’s all for the baby so I couldn’t care less!”

Congrats to Victoria’s Secret model, Alessandra Ambrósio! According to PEOPLE, she gave birth to a son, reportedly named Noah, yesterday! She and her fiancé, Jamie Mazur, already have a three-year-old daughter, Anja Louise.

The hot mama didn’t let her pregnancy stop her from modeling. In April, she shot ads for Brazilian jewelry company Vivara where she appeared nude while wearing some major bling (see the pic above!) We like her daring maternity style!

We’re seriously wondering if there’s a daycare backstage at Victoria’s Secret photoshoots and fashion shows? You know, where Flynn Bloom (Miranda Kerr’s son), Phyllon (Doutzen Kroes’s son), Valentina (Adriana Lima’s daughter) and Anja and Noah hang out while their moms are on the runway. Let’s not forget to count in mom-to-be Lily Aldridge’s baby in a couple of months.
