Finally — FINALLY! — after months of speculation, proud mama Jessica Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson have officially confirmed they’re making room for one more!

On Christmas morning the Weight Watchers spokeswoman tweeted a Christmas greeting to all her followers and fans saying, “Merry Christmas from my family to yours!” along with a photo of her daughter, 7-month-old Maxwell Drew, decked out in holiday pajamas and smiling in the sand atop the words “BIG SIS.”

What an adorable way to finally confirm you’re due with another bundle of joy! Bet this gift tops the list — and all this cuteness is seriously killing us over here!

Speculation that the songstress was expecting again started when she was spotted out and about in looser-fitting clothing and using her oversized totes to cover her growing belly. We couldn’t be any happier for Jess, Eric and baby Maxwell!

There’s no official word yet on how far along Jess is in her second pregnancy, but it looks like Maxwell will be a big sister in late spring or early summer.

Congratulations to Jessica and her beautiful family!

What was your favorite news story this week?

Jessica Simpson’s baby girl, Maxwell Drew is not even seven months old, so we weren’t anticipating new baby news from Jess anytime soon — but surprise! Jessica and fiance Eric Johnson are expecting another baby, according to Us Weekly.

“It definitely wasn’t planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again,” a source revealed to the magazine. (A rep for Simpson had no comment.) ”She really is overjoyed!”

Jessica lost about 70-pounds of baby weight after Maxwell (who weighed in at 9 pounds, 13 ounces) was born. She and Eric have been engaged for two years.

We can’t wait to hear more details about Jess’s second pregnancy — her first was pretty memorable! Congratulations to the family!

Jessica Simpson took to Twitter this week to share some adorable (and slightly revealing!) personal photos with her followers. The first was a shot of the singer dressed incognito as she pushed a stroller down the street with the caption:

“Just taking a walk around the block…Street legal???”

Wearing dark shades and a low-cut shirt, it’s clear Simpson was poking fun at the er…ample size of her post-pregnancy chest.

The second image gave fans a glimpse of the new love in Simpson’s life — her two-month-old daughter, Maxwell. The caption: “Howdy friends.”

We’re not sure how Maxwell feels about her mama’s silly tweet, but we do know that the newborn has some great genes (those cheeks!). We can’t wait to see more candid pics!

Everyone was excited this week when Jessica Simpson finally revealed the first photos of her newborn baby Maxwell Drew, who was born on May 1. We love that the singer and reality TV star seems excited and happy to be a new mom. We also love the cute ensemble she dressed little Maxwell in for her People cover shoot. Her white dress with beige accents is classic and feminine — not too trendy but still really stylish for a brand-new baby. Like most new moms, Jessica probably wanted her little girl’s photos to look timeless (and not risk looking at them 20 years from now and think Why did I choose that?!)

New mom Jessica Simpson is ready to get back her pre-baby body. Her game plan? The singer tweeted recently, “so excited to be part of the Weight Watchers family.” Jessica told PEOPLE that she wants her diet to be more of a lifestyle, because she was a yo-yo dieter in the past. But while she wants to lose the baby weight, she’s being realistic about her goals. She told the magazine, “There’s not a goal weight – I just want to feel normal and fixate on inches. I really want to set small goals, so I’m constantly reaching goals and not looking at something far ahead.”

We wonder if we’ll be seeing some Weight Watchers commercials with Jessica and current Weight Watchers spokesperson Jennifer Hudson!

We finally caught a glimpse of Jessica Simpson’s daughter, Maxwell Drew. Maxwell makes her debut on the cover of this week’s PEOPLE magazine. Jessica and her fiance Eric Johnson talked to the magazine about parenthood and also shared the first photos of their newborn.

Jessica told PEOPLE that her “life has completely changed. From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!” The star also spilled on some of the challenges of parenting, from her difficult c-section recovery to nursing, which she said is a “full-on job.” But she and Eric are in love with their baby girl, “We stare at her all the time. We can’t get enough.”
