What are you wearing to holiday parties and events this year?

Marisa Miller, former Maxim Hot 100 winner and Sports Illustrated cover girl, has announced she and her husband, record producer Griffin Guess, are expecting their first child late fall this year.

The model mommy-to-be told People: “My husband and I have always looked forward to starting a family, but also wanted to enjoy just being married. After six years together, the time feels right.”

Marisa joins what seems like a flock of models who’ve announced they’re new or expecting mothers. Alessandra Ambrosio recently gave birth to her second child, Miranda Kerr and husband Orlando bloom welcomed a boy last year, and this month Gisele Bundchen announced she’s pregnant with baby number two. All of this leads us to wonder — what is in the water at those Victoria’s Secret runway shows?

What we do know is that even supermodels can’t escape nasty first trimester symptoms. “Even though I’m exhausted, gaining weight and breaking out from all the hormones, I’m really enjoying my pregnancy,” Marisa said. “It’s all for the baby so I couldn’t care less!”
