On Tuesday, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and The Step2 Company LLC announced a voluntary recall of about 15,500 Step2 X-Rider Cars.

The problem? Children who lean too far forward on the seat can go over the handle bar and fall onto the ground. There have been four reports of incidents — one child had head bumps and another had a minor concussion and cuts to the gum and lip.

The red, plastic toy scooter has a yellow handlebar and seat, and two blue stickers that simulate headlights. It’s 14 inches high, 14 inches wide and 19 inches long, and the middle of the handle bar has the Step2 logo. It was sold at Target and other retailers from January 2012 through August 2012.

On Friday, The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and KidCo Inc., of Libertyville, IL, announced a recall of  about 220,000 PeaPod and PeaPod Plus Travel Beds.

The CPSC says, “Infants and young children can roll off the edge of the inflatable air mattress, become entrapped between the mattress and the fabric sides of the tent, and suffocate.”

In December 2011, a five-month-old baby boy in New York City died, and was found with his face against the side wall of the tent — the cause of his death was not determined. There have been nine reports of children becoming entrapped or experiencing “physical distress” while in the tent. Some of the babies were found underneath the mattress — which hadn’t been zippered into place — and were crying.

The recall includes these model numbers (located on a small tag on the underside of the tent) and tent fabric colors:

They were sold at independent juvenile specialty stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com from January 2005 through the present.

On Thursday, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and LaJobi, Inc. recalled about 38,600 Graco-branded rockers and glider/rocker combos.

The two models being recalled are Graco-branded Avalon and  Katelyn Nursery Solution Glider, which is also called the Complete Nursery System (CNS Box 2). Both products were sold in classic cherry, classic white and espresso wood finishes with sandstone colored fabric covered seats. The Avalon model comes with an ottoman. The Graco logo, products’ item numbers, name and the place of manufacture are printed on the label located underneath the front part of the seat.

The base of the glider/rockers can crack or break, posing a fall hazard. There have been 26 reports of the Avalon glider rockers breaking. In one incident, there was a minor injury. There have been two reports of the CNS Box 2 glider rocker breaking with no injuries.

The Avalon model was sold at Burlington and other mass retail stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Target.com and Walmart.com from December 2009 to October 2012. The CNS Box 2 / Katelyn model was sold exclusively online at Walmart.com from November 2011 to October 2012.

On Tuesday, November 6, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA)  and Britax Child Safety Inc. recalled over 60,000 Britax car seats. The recall comes after reports of children biting or chewing on the chest pad, which could result in injury or death via choking.

The recalled seats were sold throughout the United States and Canada between June and August of 2012.

Three models were included in the recall: the Boulevard 70 G3, the Advocate 70 G3 and the Pavilion 70 G3. The following model numbers, which can be found on the mattress, are included in the recall:
