I’ve loved sassy Busy Philipps ever since her Dawson Creek days — and she’s equally hilarious on Cougar Town – but I think I like her as a pregnant woman best of all! (Maybe partially because I get to read her tweets and call it work!)

Busy showed up at last night’s Screen Actor’s Guide Awards with a mission — she’d been appointed a “social media ambassador” for the event, which basically meant she had to stop what she was doing and tweet about it throughout the night. (I’ve live tweeted during much, much lower profile events and it’s not easy — got to give her credit!)

“I genuinely had anxiety dreams about live tweeting for the SAG Awards,” she tweeted before the event. “Hope I do alright!”

And she did! In fact, she looked amazing in a form-fitting navy floor-length maternity gown, with a blue- and turquoise-jeweled statement necklace and turquoise cocktail ring.

She wrote: “Fashion ID for the SAG Awards: I am wearing custom Gabriela Cadena dress, Brian Atwood shoes, Judith Leiber clutch and Irene Neuwirth jewels!”

There were some other pregnancy related tweets throughout the evening, including: ”Pregnancy hot flash.” Which was accompanied by this funny photo:

At the end of the night, Busy wrote, “Goodnight! In the car on the way home! My feet hurt and my bump is ready for a t-shirt and sweats!”
