When Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi announced her pregnancy in March, many wondered just how over-the-top she’d go with baby clothes. Now, fans of Jersey Shore star can see for themselves. The latest issue of People magazine has the first photos of Snooki and her son, Lorenzo Dominic.

The cover features a dolled up Snooki holding a sleeping Lorenzo, who was born on August 26. While he may not be old enough to GTL just yet, the one-week-old is showing his pride with Italian flag booties and a mini chain.

Congratulations to Jersey Shore star “Snooki” Nicole Polizzi and her fiance Jionni LaValle, who welcomed a baby boy early Sunday morning. According to MTV.com, Lorenzo Domenic LaValle was born around 3 a.m. at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ, weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces.

“The world just got another Guido!!!” a rep for the reality star told MTV. “Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!”

And this morning, Snooki tweeted, “I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic ! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE’S MY WORLD!”

Is Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s new arrival on his way? Looks like it. Today, there have been several reports (including from TMZ) that Snooki checked in to St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ, so we’re pretty sure it’s happening.

No official word from the reality star, but she did tweet a photo of a lion, leopard and tiger this evening with the caption “Fierce.”  Yesterday, she wrote, “I’m a balloon waiting to pop.”

Snooki and fiancé Jionni LaValle had been expecting their “mini guido” (Snooki’s words — not ours) in the next few weeks and have already announced they’re naming the baby boy Lorenzo. I, for one, can’t wait to hear how Snooki describes labor. Congrats to Snooki who revealed on her Facebook page that she’s expecting a boy (or mini guido). Ever since the Jersey Shore star confirmed her pregnancy, she’s been chatting nonstop about the joys of pregnancy and becoming a new mom.
