Some new babies have arrived in Bon Temps!

True Blood star Anna Paquin gave birth to twins. A rep for the actress confirmed the news to People magazine this afternoon.

“We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world,” the rep says. “The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed.”

The co-stars, who wed in August 2010, announced that they were expecting a child in April. In June, they confirmed that they would be having twins.

These are the first children for Anna. Stephen has two children — Lilac, 10, and Billy, 12 — from previous relationships.

Congrats to the new parents (and make sure to keep them away from werewolves).

According to Us Weekly, the couple will welcome twins this fall. And this isn’t the first set of twins for the cast of the hit show, Sam Trammell (who plays Sam Merlotte) is already dad to 11-month-old twins, Winston and Gus. Trammell told Us about the advice he’s given to his co-stars, “It’s harder, having twins, but it’s all we know. So we’re trying to impart some decent wisdom. I told them to hold on tight!”

Congrats Anna and Stephen! We can’t wait to see what they name their babies.
